This was on my old roof in Brooklyn. There is a shot of me at the end of the movie, walking out of the building in huge sunglasses texting. I am the evil gentrifier. Ironic, because I would hang out with the neighbors regularly, and was fascinated by the birds. big surprise?

Thesis

I have not been very active on the blog lately, because I have been putting all of my energy into my Graduate Thesis portfolio. Im thinking of titling my show BIRDFACE. Still undecided on most titles....

The work is coming along well, and my studio has become my home. I want to keep the pictures under wraps until everything is finished, then I will have a big reveal and update my website.

For anyone that is in the area, or likes bird-watching; there will be an opening on May 21st-- at a (sofar) undisclosed evening time, at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art; in New Paltz, NY.
It will feature my work alongside some awesome fellow MFAs.
